Photographs are timeless, take a few moments to plan your memory
Suggestions:
> Please be well rested for your session. We want you to look and feel your best.
> Clothing can both formal and casual. Bring objects or props that will suggest your interests, hobbies or extracurricular activities. Your portraits will mean more to you and those you love when they are uniquely YOU.
> Coordinate from head to toe. Common poses include head and shoulders, three quarters and full length.
> Darker clothing tends to minimize body size, light tones emphasize body size. Solid colors are best. In order to draw attention to the face, avoid large and bold patterns. Long sleeves are recommended. Select clothing that compliments your skin tone. Wrinkles in clothing show. Check clothing prior to session.
> The correct use of makeup can enhance your portrait. Blush, eye shadow and lip color will brighten your face. Stay away from frosted colors, they reflect light. Powder reduces sheen. Eliminating shiny foreheads and noses on finished prints can be costly.
> If you wear glasses, please borrow a set of frames with lenses from your optometrist. Lenses cause distortion and glass glare.
